Linda L. (Glasker) Heller Brimeyer

Linda L. (Glasker) Heller Brimeyer, age 74, of Sherrill, IA, and formerly of Dickeyville, WI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 11, 2020, at Stonehill Care Center. To celebrate Linda’s life, family and friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., on Saturday, October 17, 2020, at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main Street. Due to the COVID-19 concerns all who attend will be required to wear a face covering. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Galena, Illinois, at a later date following cremation.

Linda was born on February 13, 1946, in Scales Mound, Illinois, daughter of Albertus “Bert” and Calista (Koehler) Glasker.

Linda graduated from Scales Mound High School, Class of 1964. She was previously married and had 2 wonderful children before going their separate ways. Linda would later meet Marvin “Mick” Brimeyer, and they would marry on February 7, 2003, at Jorga’s Restaurant in Dubuque, and spend the next 17 years together. Linda was always a hard worker and would devote 28 years with Hodge Company as an account manager. In her younger years, Linda enjoyed going dancing at the Palace in Galena with all of her friends. Most recently she liked to spend time bowling, watching old Western tv shows and Chicago White Sox games, traveling, camping, fishing, and occasionally trying her luck at the casino on the slot machines. She looked forward to visits from her family, and especially loved spending time with the grandchildren. Linda had a great love of her four legged canine friends, especially her beloved Lola and Buddy, and her feline friend, Tuffy. She also cared for the outside animals and faithfully made sure her feathered friends were well fed all winter. We are heartbroken at the loss of such a wonderful, caring woman in our daily lives, but we take some comfort in knowing that she is now at peace and free of all of the health challenges she has faced so bravely these past months.

2 condolences for Linda L. (Glasker) Heller Brimeyer
  1. tim hodge says:

    To the Brimeyer family,

My heartfelt condolences on Linda’s passing. She was, and always will be, a big part of the history of our company. She was a great employee and friend and, in my case, a teacher because she was the only one that could get me to understand the FDL tracking system…
Our best to all of you.

    Take care,
    Tim Hodge

  2. Roberta Montgomery says:

Jim Glasker I was so sorry to read that your sister has passed away. We never know when we will be called home. I don’t see too many people from SM and I don’t go out there unless it is for the class reunion, that was canceled to this virus. Again you have my sympathy.
