Memorial Tree Details

Tribute store offers a memorial tree donation program as one of many options on obituary pages that allows visitors to express their condolences and pay tribute in an environmentally friendly way, accommodates various cultures and serves as a living memorial of the deceased.

Our U.S. Forestry partner, American Forests, works with their networks of planting partners throughout North America and plants the tree in the area of greatest need.

They’ll determine the tree species depending on what grows best in that area and what best helps the environment. Due to seasonal conditions, tree planting takes place during the spring and summer. As such, if the family order trees during the planting season, it is possible the planting of these trees may not occur until the next year.

We are committed to ensuring that one of the most difficult times in peoples’ lives is as meaningful as possible and continue to enhance our tree program in furtherance of that goal.
